THE B.Ed. PROGRAM WILL CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:
Part – I Foundation Theory Papers (Papers I-IV)s
Part – II Papers on pedagogy of teaching subject (Papers V and VI)
Part – III Teaching Practice and Practical Work)
Part – IV Qualifying Compulsory Paper – VII (Computer and its Educational Applications)
Part – V Specialization (Additional Optional Paper – VIII)
Part I : FOUNDATION THEORY PAPERS
There will be following four foundation theory papers:
Paper – I Education in Indian Society.
Paper – II Psychology of Learner and Teaching Learning Process.
Paper – III Educational System and School Management in India.
Paper – IV Classroom Management and Educational Technology.
Part II : PEDAGOGY OF TEACHING SUBJECTS (PAPER – V & VI)
Out of the following papers, a student teacher shall have to offer any two teaching subjects which he/she has studied at Graduation /P.G. level for at least two years:
1 Pedagogy of Hindi.
2 Pedagogy of English.
3 Pedagogy of Sanskrit.
4 Pedagogy of Mathematics.
5 Pedagogy of General Science.
6 Pedagogy of Physics.
7 Pedagogy of Chemistry.
8 Pedagogy of Biology.
9 Pedagogy of Home Science.
10 Pedagogy of Social Science.
11 Pedagogy of History.
12 Pedagogy of Civics.
13 Pedagogy of Economics.
14 Pedagogy of Geography.
15 Pedagogy of Business Studies
16 Pedagogy of Financial Accounting

EVALUATION OF PAPERS I TO VI
1.Each question paper (six in all) will have two sections- Section A will contain 8 short answer type questions out of which the candidate will be required to attempt any 5 questions, each question carrying 7 marks. Section-B will contain 3 essay type questions with an internal choice for each question. Essay type question will carry 15 marks each.
2.Short answer type questions would aim at testing knowledge of concepts, facts, definitions, laws, principles, generalization etc. and also understanding of principles and concepts.
3.Essay type questions are to aim at testing the abilities of critical thinking and application of principles taught in theory.
Part – III TEACHING PRACTICE & PRACTICAL WORK
Teaching practice and practical work will carry 300 marks comprising of -
1. Internal assessment 200 marks
2. External Examination 100 marks

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT SCHEME
The distribution of 200 marks shall be as follows:

9 Practical in the use of audio-visual equipments- two (to be evaluated by audio-visual in charge) 5
10 Open air session/ community service camp –
(a) Beautification & Shramdan
(b) Community participation
(c)  Studies  (work  experience  related  with  some  theory courses
(d) Cultural & literary activities

11 Social participation & community life at college level –
(a) Shramdan & beautification
(b) Punctuality & discipline
(c) Social participation & achievements
(d) Celebration of important days
(e) Wall magazine preparation
(f) Other co-curricular group & individual activities According to local genius & situation

COMPUTER AND ITS EDUCATIONAL APPLICATIONS (PAPER VII)
(a) Each candidate is required to qualify this paper for obtaining the degree; however the marks obtained in this paper will not be included to determine the overall division.
(b) This paper will carry 100 marks out of which 60 marks which will be externally assessed at the final examination and 40 marks shall be allotted to practical sessional work which will be assessed internally.
(c) In order to be declared successful in this paper candidate must obtain a minimum of 36% marks.
